The Town of Sunnyvale has engaged with a consulting firm to redo our town’s Comprehensive Plan. As part of the process, the Town is looking for residents to serve on the Steering Committee–this will entail a few meetings at regular intervals over the next 14-16 months to review the consultant’s plans and give feedback. This plan will guide development and land use within Sunnyvale for potentially the next 20 years, so if you want to shape the future of Sunnyvale this is an important opportunity!

You can read more about the Comprehensive Plan process here: https://legistarweb-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/attachment/pdf/3298037/Comp_Plan_PSA_Sunnyvale_Houseal_Lavigne_FINAL_04252025.pdf

Reach out to a Town Council member (https://www.townofsunnyvale.org/137/Town-Council ) soon if you’re a Sunnyvale resident and you’d like to be nominated to serve–I believe they are trying to choose individuals by Wednesday, 7/16.
